I had the pleasure of working with Karen in 2019 as a Key Note Speaker and Judge for our Africa Start Up Gate Summit 2019. Karen has continued to support our Tunisian Eco system and that of the MENA countries and her experience that she shared with the delegates at the Summit was and it to this day far reaching to inspire and educate Entrepreneurs in this region. I attended a ‘Lunch and Learn’ workshop organised by Karen. I’m preparing to fundraise and the workshop was pitched at just the right level to demystify what’s involved when fundraising in relation to crowdfunding in particular. The length of the workshop was good too, timed to make sure we weren’t overwhelmed with too much information. Helpful slides, well presented. All in all, I now feel ready to start the fund raising process with confidence.

Last evening was probably the best meeting I have attended. You managed to keep us to time (Ruthlessly) and despite the transport difficulties you had a goodly number of wealthies. The judges set the tone and were surprisingly kind and constructive which set the scene for the greet and meet session. I felt the rivalry, for when I came up somebody had moved our stand into the corner – a matter soon corrected. We had a lot of interest and I will respond to the players next

We all know that, as angel investors and entrepreneurs, initial business promotions and gaining initial financial strengths are like moving a super tanker. Karen is an example of how you can successfully move the super tanker and how you can gain high quantity of leads in such varied sectors as biotechnology, medical cannabis, clean technologies and real estate. I first met Karen through a network of Women in Tech in London and then as a client of PwC which then developed into the Scale Program London Manchester Karen then used her wide investor networking skills to source us investment globally and advise re networks and our documents. Though we raised Karen continues to communicate with us and we will be using her skills for 2019 next stage raise Series B

Karen has remarkable energy and enthusiasm for fundraising and investor relations. I attended a family office investor event in emerging technologies organised by Karen and I was highly impressed by the eclectic range entrepreneurs and investors at the event. I attend many events in the venture capital and startup sector and none were as eye-opening and stimulating at the one that Karen organised. BRAVO! Karen made it easy to approach investors in my business. I met Karen when she spoke at the 2018 Business Show on Access to Funding and Investment Finance Grants Masterclasses for SME’s. I approached Karen after the event to attain a more personal advise for my business. Although a busy schedule at the event, Karen gave pointers and advised on areas I had not considered. The experience was eye opening and I would recommend a one to one opportunity for other upcoming entrepreneurs.
