I recently attended an Investor event at MMU Manchester by Gateway2Enterprise. It was wonderful! All the speakers including Karen were just appropriate and all inspiring. I highly recommend Gateway2enterprise events to any SMEs who want to take their business to the next level.

I attended the Investments and Crowdfunding Workshop in Manchester and found it very informative. Not only did the group receive excellent advice and guidance about the development of Crowdfunding platforms we also had access to legal experts, accountancy advice and a local Entrepreneur who took questions from the floor. Mind blown!! Karen’s Gateway2enterprise Investment Readiness Accelerator Program exceeded all of my expectations. It was intensive and highly rewarding. I attended a ‘Lunch and Learn’ workshop organised by Karen. I’m preparing to fundraise and the workshop was pitched at just the right level to demystify what’s involved when fundraising in relation to crowdfunding in particular. The length of the workshop was good too, timed to make sure we weren’t overwhelmed with too much information. Helpful slides, well presented. All in all, I now feel ready to start the fund raising process with confidence.

I was honoured to be on the Family Office panel for Karen’s Online Spring Family Office/Investor Conference on Impact/ESG/Technology Family Office Trends in March of 2021. She and I first met some years ago in Tunisia where we were both speakers at an event supported by various governments including Germany, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Not only does Karen have a strong grasp on impact investing for investment fund mandates but most importantly, she has on-the-ground experience and networks in emerging economies. I look forward to her Family Office Summit on 22 July 2021 in London. Karen is a very lovely person to work with and I personally intend to do more work with her great organization.

I met Karen at her Accelerator Program with Key Stage Ventures: ‘Investment Readiness’. I was initially impressed with Karen’s and her team knowledge, so I asked them if they would like to help us raise our first round of investment. We started working together during the Pandemic COVID-19 and within this period we raised £250k with a Family Office and the option of further investment. I liked their approach. They allocate their team members to parachute into your company to look at your strategy, structure and then work with you daily. Karen lead on raising the investment through her global network of investors and also supported us with the Term Sheets; while Matt guided us on our company structure and management. I would recommend and endorse Karen and her team if you wish not only to raise investment but also put together/review your fundraising strategy. We will continue to work within them and be part of their Accelerator Program to present at their Annual Family Office Conference on October 2020.

Karen is one of our business partners. She was a speaker in our conferences in Zurich and London. Speakers are welcome to invite up to three VIPs to join our conferences. We were always surprised by the amazing guests she brought along. She has a unique way of collaboration and is an intelligent, generous and authentic business partner. Karen has remarkable energy and enthusiasm for fundraising and investor relations. I attended a family office investor event in emerging technologies organised by Karen and I was highly impressed by the eclectic range entrepreneurs and investors at the event.
